I've got two mp3's of songs I'm currently working on. I actually started working on these sometime in mid-summer and then left them. I haven't done any recording or writing since then, ...and very little playing PERIOD for that matter. I've been occupied by other things, just got bored with it in general I guess. Probably soon I'm going to pick up where I left off and start recording again. I have several basic ideas for a few songs jotted down as well as a few lyrics, but these are the only demo's of any decent length worth posting. Keep in mind, they are pretty rough, just basic structures. The vocals in the first one are pretty bad, I don't like them at all, but it gives you a basic idea of how it should sound. I plan on going back at a later time and re-recording the vocals as well as a few guitar tracks. You'll notice that the drums do sound better since I've added toms to it. I'm still using the same cymbal samples, snare drum samples, and kick drum samples. I've managed to find some decent quality tom drum samples now, which gives me the ability to create more dramatic and expressive fills, rolls, etc, something I wished I could've been able to do on my old stuff. It makes drum track creating EVEN MORE tedious and time consuming since I have to arrange each and every single beat of every drum and cymbal strike, but the end result is always better sounding than crappy loops that someone else made.
The first one is called "Dreams Of Circles". Here's the lyrics I have written so far.

This next one, I don't currently have a title for it other than "Untitled5". I don't think I'm going to write lyrics for it at all, I'm probably going to end up making it an instrumental piece with lots of guitar soloing. It has a pretty slow and sad pace compared to the stuff I've normally done. This is one I've written to dedicate to my friend, Melisa Sherman, which is why I've made it sound somewhat sad and slow. I plan on keeping the intro and basic riff, but I'm not very satisfied with what I've recorded from the second riff until the end, I'll more than likely end up scrapping that part of the song.
